5. Minutes of the Council’s meeting held on 10 April, 2008.

12 Finance
12.1 Statement of current financial position - copy provided to Councillors before meeting.
12.2 Bank reconciliation approval by Chairman.
12.3 Accounts for payment - copy to be provided to Councillors before meeting.
12.4 To consider a proposal to increase the Handyman’s working hours by an extra 4 hours a week until 30th September 2008 as last year.
13. Community Warden To receive comments from Councillors who accompanied our Community Warden on patrol.
14. Independent enquiries by Councillors To consider adoption of a policy of best practice received from Sussex Association of Local Councils.
15. Bracklesham Park
15.1 To receive information on grounds maintenance.
15.2 To receive an update on the community facilities.
16. Highways
16.1 Street Lights Report from Mr. Breeze.
16.2 To receive a request from the resident of Oakfield Avenue to have double yellow lines on the road outside her property (opposite side to the Library) to prevent parking each side of the road and restricting the road width.
16.3 To receive a request for provision of crossing points:
a. Bracklesham Lane, near Stocks Lane junction, in particular for school children and elderly.
b. Northern Crescent near to Windmill Court.
17. Environmental Issues
17.1 Football Pavilion repairs - update.
17.2 Playground Inspection - to receive details from the Clerk.
17.3 Marine Drive Toilets - to receive information on opening times.
18. Birdham Scouts To receive a request for open space for use by the Scouts.
19. Rural Village Development To agree comments for submission.
20. Foreshore Improvements To receive information from the Clerk.
21. Christmas Lights Working Party To receive an update on progress and any items for consideration.
22. Parish Council Office Any information from the Clerk and the Chairman regarding the office.
23. Annual Parish Meeting - 24 April 2008 To receive a debrief and draft minutes.
