It will be even easier for residents and businesses to access services when the parking services office moves into the council’s headquarters and a new online facility is launched.
Chichester District Council’s parking services office will be closing its doors at 3 Market Road, Chichester, at 3pm on Friday 14 October 2011 to prepare for the move. From 9am on Monday 17 October, all services will be available in the reception area of the council’s offices at East Pallant House, Chichester.
“By moving the parking services office into East Pallant House, we can help residents and businesses save time by accessing even more services under one roof,” says Cllr John Connor, Cabinet Member for the Environment and Community Safety.
Parking services include:
- season tickets
- residents’ and visitors’ permits
- parking smart cards
- parking information
The council’s preferred methods of payment are Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa Electron.
As well as accessing all parking services, residents and businesses can now also renew season tickets and parking permits on a new website.
Season tickets are available for the council’s car parks in Chichester, Midhurst, Petworth and Selsey. They can now be renewed on a rolling monthly basis, from one to 12 months, by going to www.chichester.gov.uk/parking.
“We know that time is precious, which is why we are constantly developing our website so that our services are available for you to access online at your convenience. We are really pleased to announce that you can now renew your season ticket or parking permit online. You can access this service 24 hours a day, and save yourself a journey, phone call, or the need to send a letter,” adds Cllr Connor.
